What We Collect
Vetto collects your email address to create your account; your device push token to send notifications; and (only if you choose to enter it) your vehicle brand/model/year/mileage for the "My Car" feature.
How We Use Your Data
Your email is used only to send your one-time login code and identify your account. Your push token is used only to send notification types you have explicitly enabled (chronic-issue reminders, TRAMER follow-up reminders, etc.) — you can disable these anytime in Settings.
Report Images Are Not Stored
The report images you upload for analysis are not permanently stored on our servers. An image is held in memory only while your request is running, passed to the analysis provider to be read, and dropped when the request ends — it is never written to disk, cloud storage, or backups. The only thing kept in our database is the structured result of the analysis: panel conditions, risk score, and estimated cost ranges. When you return to an analysis later you see that result, not the original image.
Browser Extension
Vetto's Chrome extension sends only the VEHICLE TECHNICAL FIELDS from a sahibinden.com listing page (make, series, model, year, mileage, fuel, transmission, engine displacement, engine power) to our server for matching. Not sent: the listing ID, the listing URL, the price, seller details, the listing description and photos — these are never even read. This data is NOT STORED: the request is answered and discarded; nothing is written to a database or linked to an account. The extension does not ask you to sign in, does not read session data, and has no access to your browsing history; it runs only on sahibinden.com listing pages.
Market Position Feature
When explicitly triggered, the market position feature reads and computes the year/mileage/price of similar listings entirely in your browser — this data is never sent to any server, it stays on your device. The feature only runs when you click the button; it is not automatic.
Third-Party Sharing
We use Resend for email delivery, Apple/Google push notification services for in-app notifications, and Google Places API to find nearby inspection shops (your location is sent only for the query, never stored). To read the information in your report image we use a vision language model (Google Gemini) via OpenRouter; the image is transmitted to that provider only for the duration of that call. TRAMER damage history queries are sent directly from your SMS app to the official government line (5664) — Vetto never has access to this data.
Data Security
Your session tokens and verification codes are never stored as plain text in our database — only their cryptographic hashes (SHA-256) are retained.
Your Rights
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in-app via Settings → "Delete account", effective immediately. You can also email adanirmetin@gmail.com; email requests are processed within 30 days.
Not a Certified Inspection Report
Vetto does not replace an official certified inspection report as regulated by Turkish law (Motorlu Kara Taşıtlarının Ticareti Hakkında Yönetmelik, dated 27.08.2024). Vetto is a pre-screening and decision-support tool only.
